How to Make Kids Want To Eat Veggies?

Kids hate vegetables. Why? Because it tastes bland, bitter and plain, at least kids usually said so. So how do you get kids to eat veggies? The easiest way, according to French researchers, is by smiling.

This might sound ridiculous, but kid’s eating habit is influenced by expression of adults that gave them the food. Still don’t get the idea? Okay, I read about an article, it says that there was a group of French scientists doing research on the reaction of adults and children perceived images in people who were eating. It is found out that adults and children perceived images influence their eating habit.

Adults may eat food (including food they hate the most) when they were placed in front of a picture of slender body sized model. However, the kids seems like they weren’t influenced by body size issue, but they tend to reject all foods, particularly veggies, when placed in front of fat body images. In the meantime, expression images take crucial effects. When the kids placed in front of smiling picture, it makes them interested to try the food. But when the image turns to be disgusting expression, they will certainly reject the food. The same goes on the adults.

To sum up, adults tend to eat food represented by slender body sized people, and children’s eating habit is affected by the type of expression. This result is beyond expectation; however it doesn’t mean that many children’s curiosity depends on expressions.

Let’s make a strategy, that this is the key to make your kids eat the veggies. Put on smile and happy expression when eating healthy food, like veggies, to persuade them.  It is called as the psychological factor for shaping children’s eating habit.
